Chloe N. Clark holds an MFA in Creative Writing & Environment. She is a writer, of primarily fiction and poetry, with work appearing in a variety of places (See Writings Published page). She also writes monthly columns for Ploughshares, reviews and writes posts for Nerds of a Feather, and reviews for Publisher’s Weekly.
She teaches college composition with a focus on rhetorical arguments; lectures on Monster Theory, Genre, Speculative Writing, and Fan Studies (she previously wrote a monthly column on this, at Luna Station Quarterly, called Ghosts and Fandoms); and her additional areas of research include folklore/fairy tales/mythology, WWI poetry, film (with a particular focus on war, horror, science-fiction, and the creation of movie trailers), advertising, music videos, African literature, witch-hunting and trials throughout history, disease, apocalypse literature, and the history of stage magic.
She writes about all of the things above, but there is also a special place in her heart for food, music, and basketball.
